Third Part of My Response to The Movie Zeitgeist

Noah
These three things separate the Biblical account of the Flood from the others.
1) The Genealogy of Adam to Noah prophesies the work of Jesus.
2) The avian account of the raven and the 3 trips of the dove refers to both the work of Jesus and the triune nature of God.
3) The course of Satan’s attack and God’s counter attack is seen in a single chapter of Genesis.
What’s in a name?
God says he will confound the wise, making them look like fools.
I am the Lord that maketh all things …That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;[Isaiah 44:25]
No matter what is before such a person there always has to be another explanation.
There is a lot in a name:
Adam, Seth, Enosh, Kenan, Mahalalel, Jared, Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech, and Noah are introduced in the book of Genesis. This list is the complete patriarchal blood line from Adam to Noah.
When Methuselah was born the people should have started asking questions since his name in Hebrew means: His death shall bring (Some translations also include water, too). What, pray tell could this mean? Needless to say this man lived so long that Lamech came and went while Methuselah still lived. Now, here you would really think that people would start to ask questions, for Lamech’s name means: Despair, and despairing, etc. Get the picture?
It was that same year of Methuselah’s death that the waters of the Flood came. We have still to see what’s latent for those who will spend the time to find. If we translate the names of the rest of the lineage from Adam to Noah, we get: Adam-Man, Seth- Appointed, Enosh-Mortal, Kenan-Sorrow, Mahalalel-The Blessed God, Jared- Shall come down, Enoch-Teaching, Prophesying, Methuselah- His Death Shall Bring, Lamech-The Despairing, and Noah- Rest, or Comfort.

Man is Appointed Mortal Sorrow. [But] The Blessed God Shall Come Down Teaching [that] His Death Shall Bring The Despairing Rest [or Comfort].

This is exactly what Christ would do about 2000 years later. (Find it in Genesis 7)

Birds of the Arc

And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made:
And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.
Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground;
But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters [were] on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.
And he stayed yet other* seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;
And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth [was] an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.
And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.
And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first [month], the first [day] of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.[Genesis 8:6-13]

First bird- the raven

Noah sends a raven out first in order to locate any carrion as the waters began to descend. Ravens eat flesh. They are among the unclean creatures because of their diet.

And these [are they which] ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they [are] an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,
And the vulture, and the kite after his kind;
Every raven after his kind; [Genesis 11:13-15]

The raven symbolizes the death of Christ in context. We all are made unclean in the sense that we ate something against God’s will. Christ gives of himself as we take Him into us to be saved from death. He even offers his body and blood to us at Passover. This is necessary to usher in the work of Christ.

Ravens feed the prophet Elijah bread and flesh. Elijah has the power (from God) to control rain; he gives life back to the dead, and he ascends to heaven (The last two are curious traits shared by none other than Jesus). His name means “YAH IS MY GOD”
[See I Kings 17, 2 Kings 2:8]

Second bird-the dove

Doves are clean according to the dietary laws given by God to Moses, and were thereby acceptable for sacrifice (Genesis 15:9, Leviticus 5:7 and 12:6-8, Luke 2:22-24).

Jesus is worthy and is sacrificed for our transgressions.

The dove becomes a symbol of The Holy Spirit –
And when Jesus was baptized, He went up immediately from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and alighting on Him; and lo, a voice from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, with Whom I am well pleased. (Matthew 3:16-17)

The dove is the symbol of peace. Noah gets the message of ‘flood’s over’ as the dove returns with the olive branch. [Gen 8:11]

Noah sends out a dove. The bird comes back. After another 7 days, Noah sends the same bird out again. This time the dove comes back with an olive branch.
After again another 7 days the same dove does not return.

The dove symbolizes the triune nature of God:
The Father-dove’s first flight.
The Son- dove’s second flight
The Holy Ghost- dove’s third flight. Jesus Christ is resurrected on day three. Seven is the numerical reference to God and His work. God creates everything in six days; whereas he reflects on the seventh.

Raven ► Death of Christ
7 days ► Number symbol of God/His work
Dove/ First flight ► God the Father
7days►Number symbol of God…
Dove/ Second flight/olive branch ► God the Son
7days ► Number symbol of God…
Dove/ Third flight/ ‘disappears’ or ‘gone away’ ► The Holy Spirit

Or it can be read as:

Raven ► Death of Christ
Dove/ First flight ► God the Father
7days►Number symbol of God/His work, The Crucifixion
Dove/ Second flight/olive branch ► God the Son
7days ► Number symbol of God/ His work, The Resurrection
Dove/ Third flight/ ‘disappears’ or ‘gone away’ ► The Holy Spirit

Jesus, either way, is present in the text.

The three flights of the one dove both symbolize God and Jesus and binds them together as one in the symbol. 1. Jesus was dead for three days. 2. God has three qualities in Him; each is no less than the one-Father, Son, Holy Spirit.
The recurring number seven is spaced between each bird’s flight beginning with the raven. Seeing as this number is a reference to God and His work Jesus was born to die, by the will of God and is one with God. The second flight this dove comes back with the olive leaf bears the very type of plant from which comes anointing oil. Jesus is God’s anointed. In addition, he is crucified on a ‘tree’ in the form of a cross. Jesus is also the vine with us as the branches.
Jesus’ tomb found empty after the third day is expressed by the dove’s final and third flight. When Jesus ascends to Heaven the Holy Ghost is given to the believers at Pentecost.

*the wording is peculiar, here. “…waited yet other seven days” first appears between raven and dove. Highly speculative, this may yet imply something even more.

Noah’s sons

Ham is cursed due to sexual ridicule of his father Noah at Noah’s most vulnerable moment. Ham and his offspring are to serve his 2 brothers, Japheth and Shem and their offspring.
Here the O.T. reveals how Egypt and Babylon make the best fertilizer for rebellion against the will of God through self-worship, perversion, sorcery and astrology.
It also shows where Gnosticism comes from. Gnosticism means ‘hidden knowledge’, but not the knowledge of God-theology, being the study of God- but knowledge to be as God through self-serving means. Remember the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Genesis 9 also reveals how people can dwell with God through a blessing as Jesus comes from the line of Shem.

And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham [is] the father of Canaan.
These [are] the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.
And Noah began [to be] an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:
And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.
And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.
And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid [it] upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces [were] backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness.
And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.
And he said, Cursed [be] Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
And he said, Blessed [be] the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.[Genesis 9:18-27]

This is the war map of Satan
Ham is cursed ► Mizraim ► Egypt tries to crush the Jews.
Also, Cush ► Nimrod ► Babel. ► Babylon tries to rule over the Jews.

This is God’s counter-move.
Ham (Egypt) must serve Shem (Israelites) or fall.
Cush (Babylon) must do likewise, or fall.
Japheth (Gentiles) will live with Shem (Israelites ► Jesus Lord) in his tent (tabernacle/tent/home/heaven)

Satan must bow down to God or fall.
Ditto.

All the people not of the Jews [may] live with the Jews with Christ the Lord in His Mansion.

Trouble for Ham/Egypt

He sent Moses his servant; [and] Aaron whom he had chosen.
They shewed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.
He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies, [and] lice in all their coasts.
He gave them hail for rain, [and] flaming fire in their land.
He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.
He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.
He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number,
And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.

He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.
He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and [there was] not one feeble [person] among their tribes.
Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
[Psalms 105: 26,-38]
Primary source in Exodus.

Trouble for Cush/Babylon

Because the LORD hath spoiled Babylon, and destroyed out of her the great voice; when her waves do roar like great waters, a noise of their voice is uttered:[Jeremiah 51:55]

They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold, and of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood, and of stone.

In the same hour came forth fingers of a man's hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaister of the wall of the king's palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote.

Then the king's countenance was changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his loins were loosed, and his knees smote one against another.

The king cried aloud to bring in the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers. [And] the king spake, and said to the wise [men] of Babylon, Whosoever shall read this writing, and shew me the interpretation thereof, shall be clothed with scarlet, and [have] a chain of gold about his neck, and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom

Then came in all the king's wise [men]: but they could not read the writing, nor make known to the king the interpretation thereof.

A servant of God, Daniel, interprets the dream

And this [is] the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.
This [is] the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it.
TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.
PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.
Then commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with scarlet, and [put] a chain of gold about his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.
In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain.
[Daniel 5]

In light of the Eden account here is a more complete war map of Satan.

Adam/ Eve►cursed►death►Cain kills Abel ► Ham-cursed► Mizraim ► Egypt tries to crush the Jews.
Also,Ham► Cush ► Nimrod ► Babel. ► Babylon tries to rule over the Jews ►currupt the world of men (gentile and Jew)

A parallel course of attack is always present since Eden.

Cain-cursed*►Enoch► offspring of Enoch►Lemech► corruption of the pre-Flood Creation►Ham-cursed… ► Saul, first king of the Jews who seeks the death of David (bloodline of Jesus)► Herod** who seeks the death of Jesus.

[* all curses go to offspring.]
[** Herod is a direct offspring of the Edomites. They assisted Nebuchadnezzar (Babylonian King) to slaughter the Jews. Esau is Edom. Esau gives up his birthrights to Jacob, his brother, and loses his chance to become Israel. Instead, Jacob becomes Israel.]

Lemech says something very revealing: I killed a man who wounded me and since my father is revenged, I will be even revenged seventy-seven fold. [Genesis 4: 23,24].

This wounding business is a direct echo of the serpent’s cry of being cursed/wounded starting in the garden.
Now, up until the fulfillment of the Revelation Satan goes after the offspring of Eve who will one day finish him. He tries to wipe out the line of Shem(Jews) in Egypt. Corrupt the line of Shem in Babylon…Kill the anointed (Jesus) not once, but twice. He thinks Jesus will come back as an infant. Hence so many infanticide cases escalating to date.
The world prior to the flood became so corrupt from the offspring of Cain, God knew best by choosing still another son for Adam: Seth.

God’s counter move:

New beginning in the form of a post-Flood creation ►Noah►Seth►paternal bloodline from him, starting with Adam to Noah►Japheth/Shem► Abraham ► David►Solomon ► Jesus, a reconcilement of man with God.

A final note:

Astrology as the main source for the Biblical text

Let them[stars] be for signs and seasons, days and years [Genesis 1:14]

From a Biblical perspective, God’s fingerprint should be found in the world, the stars, the land, waters, stories…

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened (Romans 1:18-21).

As a Christian I embrace the idea that Virgo the virgin predates the Virgin Mary, that there are three stars that predate the 3 kings in search of Jesus, that Draco the Dragon predates Lucifer and that the 2 fishes of Pisces predates Jesus and his miracle of feeding a whole multitude with only 2 fish.
With understanding, we can also embrace how there are over 200 flood stories that ‘suspiciously’ points to Noah. The Truth should be spread out all over the face of the earth, but is only in fragments without the Bible to pull it all together.

Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.
And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.
Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve
And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.
And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.
And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.
Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.
And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.
And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?
And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.
And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?
And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.
And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.
And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.
And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:
For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide [it] among yourselves:
For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake [it], and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup [is] the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me [is] with me on the table.
[Luke 22:1-21]

The man with the pitcher of water can easily refer to Christ.

But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.[john 4:14]

The promise is a gift from God, as Jesus speaks with the Samaritan woman at the well.
The man with the pitcher of water can also, and simultaneously, refer to God.

Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.[John4 : 10]

The room is an upper room. It’s large and is completely ready for the feast to take place.
It becomes a symbol for heaven.

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.[John 14:2]

Bethlehem
Bethlehem - house of bread.
Jesus is born there.
Jesus is the bread of life.
And Jesus said unto them, “I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst…. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. [John 6:35, 51.]

The [wedding] feast in heaven

And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. [ Matthew 8:11]

The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.
Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.[Matthew 22:2-4]

Old Testament:
Isaiah 54:5 -- For thy Maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is His Name, and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; the God of the whole earth shall He be called.
Isaiah 62:5 -- And as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.
New Testament:

Romans 7:4 -- Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to Him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
2 Corinthians 11:2 [Paul reminded the church in Corinth that they were married to Jesus.] For I am jealous over you with Godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one Husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
Revelation 19:7-9 -- Let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb.

* Notes for Noah section: Is there seven days before the first flight of the dove? The Genesis text doesn’t say this flat out. However, I cannot help but see the connection. There is discrepancy over translation throughout the Bible from the Hebrew and Aramaic, Greek to English. Nevertheless, there seems to be an uncanny protective mechanism in the Bible that never fails. I’m familiar with the question regarding Jesus’ claim of being dead for three days to rise on the third: From Friday to Sunday is not three days. This is too obvious to overlook. A problem starts with assuming a total number of hourly units for us being 24hrs per day as how the Hebrew thought back then. Days and nights are made separate, and is often shown in the Bible: “Forty days and forty nights” serves as a good example. Also, according to Jewish custom each new ‘day’ starts at nightfall, not at the24th hour. Therefore, Their Friday starts at our Thursday, so to speak. If something falls on a part of the day, it serves a total unit, as well. Sure, it is a little confusing; it is this type of ‘problem’ which will most probably reveal more connections between O.T and N.T.
So how can Jesus be crucified on a Friday and resurrect on Sunday and still fulfill His own prophesy of a three day interval?
Jesus was crucified and was dead for 3 days, a unit that compares to the span of their day; He arose on the 3rd day. Night/day(Jewish Thursday at nightfall brings in their Friday) night/day (Saturday) night/day (Sunday).
The binding point is how the question of the dove’s first flight following seven days parallels the question of the number of days, or day units, Jesus is considered dead, prior to His resurrection.

The units:
Hebrew: night/day/night/day/night/day/night ► English: [day=day and night] /day/day/day.

For the average English-speaking listener, a Friday crucifixion to a Sunday resurrection is just two days.
For the Hebrew-speaking listener, there are three ‘days’ involved, here.
